Autumn in Tokyo!~Meiji Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Namiki~
When you think of autumn in Japan, autumn leaves are famous and very beautiful!
But today I'd like to introduce the avenue of ginkgo trees that are just as beautiful as the autumn leaves!
This is the ginkgo avenue!
The best time to see the trees is when the entire row of ginkgo trees turns golden.
It is usually late November to early December.
One of the best places to see ginkgo trees is near TCJ!
It's only a 10-minute walk from the school!
~Meiji Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Namiki~
Meiji Jingu Gaien was built in 1926 as the outer garden of Meiji Shrine.
With the Seitoku Memorial Picture Gallery at its center, the park is also a popular urban oasis where you can enjoy sports facilities such as Jingu Stadium and nature in all seasons.
The rows of ginkgo trees that stretch from Aoyama-dori to Meiji Jingu Gaien are world-famous. It is often used as a filming location for TV dramas and commercials, and its urban and stylish atmosphere is also a reason for its popularity.
Unfortunately, the festival was cancelled this year due to the coronavirus, but I hope it will be held next year.
If the Corona pandemic is settled and is under control next year, I'm sure the festival will be held, and it will be a very fun event~!
