What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
After graduation, I will enter the Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Tokyo University of Science. My hometown, Beijing, China, has been experiencing severe smog since 2013. In order to tackle environmental pollution, I am very interested in developing batteries for new energy vehicles. In the future, I would like to study about new energy batteries at university in order to work on improving and developing high-performance batteries.
What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
After graduating from university, I would like to attend graduate school in Japan. I would like to continue researching storage battery electrode materials and electrolytes in a specialized laboratory. In the future, I would like to work for a new energy-related company in Japan and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
TCJ was recommended to me by the cram school I attended in China. TCJ teachers are very responsible towards their students. My teachers, Mr. Nishihata and Mr. Kamikawa, not only taught classes, but also helped me prepare for university entrance exams. They helped me revise my statement of purpose and gave me a mock interview. During the two years I studied at TCJ, my listening and speaking skills improved considerably. I am grateful to the teacher who taught me carefully. Everyone, please have confidence and keep working hard! I hope that you will be able to get into your ideal university.
