Japanese Level at Admission / N5
Q. What are you currently doing? Please write as specific as possible.
After graduating from university with a degree in International Relations, I moved to Japan in 2017 and have worked as an English teacher as well as actor since then. I teach English to students from kindergarten all the way through university and love every moment of it! You might also catch me on TV at some point so keep your eyes out for it! It isn't easy building a new life abroad, but it's a very fun adventure.
Q. What do you want to achieve in your future after studying Japanese at TCJ? Please write as specific as possible about your dreams and goals.
While I really do enjoy my work as a teacher at the moment, I aspire to achieve bigger and better things. Life is short and I also want to gain valuable experiences in business as well as foreign diplomacy. This is where speaking fluent Japanese is very important! I want to impress fellow businessmen and women with powerful Japanese skills. I also want to be a valuable negotiator in Japanese.
Q. What message would you like to give to students coming into TCJ?
I have attended a few other schools and TCJ's staff are the most helpful I've met! They really care about your education and genuinely want you to succeed. I really was happy to see that at TCJ. TCJ offers morning, evening, and private classes, so you can enroll in the one that best fits your schedule. I'm extremely busy so I was glad that the Business Japanese evening course was offered, as it fit very nicely in my schedule. The classmates are also very friendly and motivated to learn Japanese!
