What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
I entered the Ritsumeikan University Graduate School of Business Administration, majoring in tourism management. The objective is to deepen the lessons learned from the agritourism business experience in rural areas near Harbin city and acquire the specialized knowledge and skills necessary for sustainable tourism development. Based on this experience, I would like to focus particularly on the effective use of local resources, building cooperative relationships with local communities, and developing tourism business models that emphasize environmental protection. Furthermore, we aim to strengthen our crisis management capabilities so that we can flexibly respond to crisis situations such as pandemics. Through this learning, I aim to promote community-based sustainable tourism businesses in the future and make a major contribution in practice.

What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
My plan is to use my expertise in agritourism and regional development to serve local governments and tourism-related businesses. Specifically, I would like to work in the tourism department or regional development department of a local government to be involved in planning and implementing tourism projects that utilize local resources. Based on the knowledge gained through research, we aim to convey the charm of the region both domestically and internationally, and encourage the influx of tourists. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize collaboration with local residents and focus on developing programs that encourage their participation. My goal is to contribute to sustainable tourism development. I would like to be involved in efforts to promote economic development while protecting the local natural environment, such as proposing tourism policies that take into account the balance between environmental protection and local economy, and promoting ecotourism. In the future, I am also considering becoming an independent tourism consultant, proposing customized tourism strategies to multiple regions and companies, and contributing to the creation of new opportunities in the tourism market.
Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
When I was studying Japanese in China, I didn't really practice speaking or writing. TCJ provided us with a great platform to practice speaking and writing. These two abilities are extremely important for promotion, so I hope you will seize this opportunity. When I first entered TCJ, I was only able to have simple conversations with people, but now I can easily handle interviews. I am truly grateful to the teachers who taught me and paid attention to every detail. I am sure that your efforts in studying at TCJ will bear fruit in the future, and I hope that you will be able to make the most of your abilities.
