Japanese Level at Admission / N5
Q. What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
I got a job in Japan. Now I'm working in a job related to branded products. I was thinking of going to graduate school, but I couldn't find a specific subject I wanted to study. When I thought long and hard about whether to continue on to graduate school or find a job, I had a strong desire to find a job, so after consulting with the admissions staff, I chose TCJ's employment course. I worked hard to find a job and after receiving several job offers, I chose the company I am working for now.
Q. What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
My future dream is to become a trusted sales representative. I have loved clothes since I was a child, and when I was in college I worked as a salesperson at a department store. I learned about current trends and customer service through magazines and social networking sites, but I enjoyed learning more about them, and I found it is rewarding when customers were convinced and happy with the products I recommended. Based on this experience, I came to believe that I wanted to do a job that propose valuable products which are meet the needs of customers.
Q. Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
When I enrolled at TCJ, I was at JLPT N5 level, and although I couldn't speak any Japanese at all at that time, my teacher was very kind to me. I take advantage of the study room in TCJ and talk to other students from different countries, I believe because of the efforts I took, I could pass the JLPT N1 before I got a job. There may be difficulties, but don't be afraid of failure and do your best to make your dreams come true.
