M.B
Japanese Level at Admission / N1
What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
I enrolled in the Department of Information Science at the Faculty of Information and Computer Engineering at Tokai University because I want to research VR technology.

In 2020, a VR company in Korea released a video showing a mother's emotional reunion with her deceased daughter, brought back to life through VR technology. This news highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence and VR technology to provide not only entertainment but also emotional and meaningful experiences. I believe that in the future, innovative experiences enabled by VR technology will reach a wider audience.
What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
The theme I want to research is to use VR technology to assist people with physical disabilities in leading more convenient lives. For example, this could involve helping people with color vision deficiency to experience the world of colors or supporting the rehabilitation and movement of people with leg disabilities through the combination of wheelchairs and VR technology.
Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
TCJ divides classes by career path and proficiency level from the time of enrollment, which allowed me to smoothly progress in Japanese language studies and preparation for further education. The self-study room is also available at any time, so I highly recommend making use of it. When I entered TCJ, I was at JLPT N4 level, but by the time of the exam, I was able to pass N1. I am grateful to the teachers who taught me patiently. The efforts made at TCJ will undoubtedly lead to success in the future. Keep up the good work!
