What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
After graduating from TCJ, I entered the Graduate School of Design at Tokyo Zokei University. I majored in industrial design at university and have always been interested in design. I wanted to continue researching design. The teachers at Tokyo Zokei matched the direction of my research. In addition, Tokyo Zokei is one of the top five schools in Tokyo with an abundance of educational resources. If you're in Tokyo, there are many opportunities to see exhibitions and participate in art activities. It will help me develop my personal abilities. That's why I chose this school.
What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
In the future, I would like to continue researching design. However, during the two-year internship period, students will need to further consider whether to get a job or continue their research at graduate school. Research in graduate school is barrier-free design. After getting a job, you may choose a different direction. I would like to work as a designer at a design company somewhere. I am also thinking about whether to stay in Japan or return to China.
Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
It is very important to learn Japanese well. TCJ is a very good language school. The teachers are not only friendly, but also very serious and responsible. If you study well, you can learn a lot. When I first entered TCJ, I had an N2 qualification, but I had not acquired the basic knowledge, so after entering TCJ, I studied with the teachers and obtained an N1 qualification.
