Q.What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
I entered the Graduate School of Arts and Letters of Chuo University. My major is Oriental history. I chose this field of study because I have been interested in history since middle school. I want to study the history of the Wei, Jin, Nanbei dynasty and Taoist culture in China, and I want to convey the historical value and charm of these cultures to many people. In particular, Taoist culture is a religion that originated and developed in China and has had a great impact on Chinese politics, culture and thought. I would like to make efforts to ensure that Taoism does not disappear in the future.
Q.What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
In the future, I want to become a teacher in an educational institution. This is because I would like to convey the fascination of Chinese history. At the same time, I would like to pursue academic research. You can never stop learning in this field even if you continue to learn all your life. I think it is important not only to teach knowledge to others, but also to keep learning new knowledge. It would be even better if I could present my findings at conferences.
Q.Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
I think it's important to have a clear goal first. What are you working hard for? What outcome would you like to achieve? If you have the answers to these questions in your mind, then just go ahead and do your best.
Also, even if you are not confident in your Japanese language skills, you should try to use Japanese in your daily life, because the teachers at TCJ are very kind. The classrooms, bathrooms and school buildings are very clean. I think TCJ is a very comfortable school.
