Japanese Level at Admission / N1
What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
After graduating, I became a research student specializing in animal ethics at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. My original major was sociology, but I suddenly discovered a topic that interested me. Since it is not sociology but ethics, you will have to study as a research student for about half a year before becoming a master's student. I am interested in the welfare of laboratory animals, so at Tokyo Agricultural Engineering, we have professors who match my interests. Also, by participating in zemi during the tour, I was able to talk to people like myself and discuss issues related to laboratory animals together, which I think was very interesting. In the summer, I will work hard to get a master's degree.
What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
In the future, I would like to work for an NPO related to the welfare of laboratory animals. The reason for this is that in my country, China, there is currently no law regarding animal welfare. Therefore, I would like to use my work experience to contribute to promoting animal welfare in my country.
Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
I have N1, and in addition to improving my Japanese ability at TCJ, I also made a lot of friends. I also learned many things about studying abroad from my kind teachers. I am very happy to meet new friends during my time abroad.
