What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
Since graduating from university, I would like to research knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence. I saw the website of the Tokyo City University Graduate School of Science and Engineering and became very interested in Professor Kohei Shiomoto. Professor Shiomoto is working on social issues by combining knowledge in fields such as artificial intelligence and the cloud, and at the same time, I also want to gain exposure to knowledge from many different fields. After contacting Professor Shiomoto last October, I was given a self-study assignment for deep learning and federal learning. In three months of self-study, I learned the basic knowledge of deep learning and federated learning. Finally, they completed their assigned tasks and presented their research report in the laboratory. For the above reasons, I chose Professor Shiomoto's laboratory.
What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
In the future, I would like to be able to apply what I have learned in academia to practical projects and solve real-world problems. In particular, I would like to delve into the fields of artificial intelligence and data analysis to develop technological solutions that can improve the way people live and work. I would also like to have the opportunity to work in an international workplace and learn how different cultures work and think. I believe that through continuous learning and practice, I can make my own contribution to the technical field.
Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
At TCJ, classes are divided according to the direction of higher education and Japanese language proficiency at the time of enrollment, so I was able to study Japanese and prepare for higher education relatively smoothly in a learning environment that suited me. Also, the study room is available for use at any time, so I hope you will make good use of it. When I first entered TCJ, I was at the N5 level, but I was able to reach the N2 level before taking the entrance exam, and I am very grateful to the teachers who taught me so carefully. I hope that what you have worked hard at TCJ will bear fruit in the future, and I wish you all the best.
