Japanese Level at Admission / N3
Q. What kind of career path did you take after graduating from TCJ? Also, please tell us the reason why you chose your career path.
I am a graduate student at Tokyo Zokei University. My major is sculpture, and I would like to do mainly woodcarving. When I was in China, I was originally very fond of the work of a sculptor named Funakoshi Katsura, and I would like to become a student of the university which he was teaching, so I came to Japan. The work I want to create, following on from my graduation project, is a three-dimensional expression of my own feelings. In the process of this creation, I am seeking to better integrate the emotional memories that arise from environmental changes into artistic creation.
Q. What are your goals and dreams for the future? Please be as specific as possible.
I don't have a very specific idea about the future yet, but I want to be a writer. I'll do my best to make my dream come true.
Q. Please give some advice to students who will join TCJ in the future and current students based on your experience.
I was just at the JLPT N3 level when I enrolled at TCJ, but I was able to pass N1 by the time I took EJU. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the teachers who are in the TCJ. To all of you who will be entering this school, please do your best to make your dream come true.
