How long have you learned at TCJ?

More than 1 year.

What are you currently doing? Please tell us as specifically as possible.

I am working as a Manager in a Global company’s Japan branch.

What have you been able to do through your studies at TCJ?

After living more than 3 years in Japan without knowing Japanese, I decided to invest in this language at the beginning of 2024.
Before that time I was able to complete JLPT N5 content by myself as self-study from various resources. From January 2024 to June 2025, some of them being part time evening courses, some part being full time intensive courses, I was able to bring my Japanese to JLPT N2 level by June 2025.
This was possible by great support of TCJ teachers and resources, and a lot of self study and practice. (I mean a lot)

What are your future goals after studying Japanese at TCJ? Please tell us about your dreams and goals as concretely as possible.

I will continue to grow my career in Japan, and continue to improve my Japanese skills by every day learning.
Not only for work, but life in general in Japan has become much more comfortable and fun after learning the local language.
Moving forward, I want to deepen my understanding of Japanese history, society and culture along with mastering the language.

Enjoy the classes, you can always find fun in every class activity. Japanese is a difficult language, especially for people of Western languages. Dedication, focus, self study and practice is extremely important.
