SENIOR VOICE

I entered the School of Fashion Studies at Bunka Gakuen University. I have been interested in fashion since I was a child, and I want to design my own clothes in the future. I have always admired the fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, and I want to become an excellent designer like him. In order to study design well, I think it is necessary to learn not only about how to making clothes, but also about each related field. I will apply the knowledge what I have learned at this university to my future work.

In the future, I would like to create my own apparel brand. However, I know that it’s not an easy task. I think I willl need not only the knowledge of design, but also knowledge and experience in brand management and PR. I hope I will be able to work for a designer I respect from the very start, and after gaining some certain experiences, and then hope I could launch my own brand and become independent in the future. I will continue to study a wide range of subjects to achieve this goal for myself.

Teachers in TCJ was kind and teach us lots of knowledge. I was at JLPT N4 level when I came to TCJ, but now my Japanese language skills are much better than before. Thanks so much for all the staff work in TCJ. I believe that what I learned at TCJ will help me in the future eventually. Best wishes and good luck with your studies.
