STUDENT VOICE
I’m a teacher and researcher in economics.
During 6 months studying at TCJ, I can understand more and improve grammar. Particularly, applying how to use grammar in various situations in daily life. In addition, my speaking skill is also getting better through interacting with teachers, friends, and making presentation. I also love reading more because the topics in the textbooks are interesting and make me curious to learn more about Japanese culture.
I hope to speak Japanese more fluently, closer to native speaker and so can have more good opportunities to understand more deeply about Japanese culture, people and daily activities. Finding a good job in Tokyo that can use both Japanese and English is one of my future goals. As a teacher, I also hope to be able to teach and discuss with students about global topics, and economic issues in Japanese.
Learning Japanese at TCJ is fun and having fun is a key in learning anything. Keep trying and keep going to the classes so that you can find fun and studying motivation by talking with teachers, friends, and TCJ staffs. There could be days that you feel tired, and lazy but just tell yourself to take small steps, for instance, speak for 5 minutes or learn 1 grammar then you can set up a momentum to move forward 🙂
