Cherry blossom viewing with friends from CLUB TCJ! 🌸

【Everyone gathered to enjoy the cherry blossoms】

On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, we held the “CLUB TCJ Cherry Blossom Viewing Event” at TCJ Tokyo School 🌸

This is one of our popular annual events, and this time around 15 students, from beginner to advanced levels, joined us.

Although it was lightly raining in the morning, the rain stopped just in time for our departure, allowing us to carry out the event as planned.
While the sky remained cloudy, it made for a calm and relaxing day where everyone could gently enjoy the arrival of spring.

【The cherry blossoms were in full bloom!】

In 2026, Tokyo’s cherry blossoms (Somei Yoshino) began blooming on March 19th, which was 5 days earlier than usual. Full bloom was observed around March 28th, making it earlier than in an average year. April 1st turned out to be the perfect timing!

【Many cherry blossom spots around the school!】

There are actually many great spots around TCJ Tokyo School where you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing.

On the day, we took a relaxing walk together, chatting along the way while looking for cherry blossoms that had just begun to bloom.

This time, we visited places such as Meiji Memorial Hall, the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, the Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Avenue, and Tokyo Metropolitan Meiji Park.

Although some trees had not yet grown leaves, we could see new buds starting to emerge and fresh greenery appearing, allowing us to truly feel the arrival of spring.

Spring 2026 has arrived.

We are looking forward to spending all four seasons together with you again this year through our classes and various events.
