April 2026 Entrance Ceremony Held

On April 8, 2026, Tokyo Central Japanese Language School (TCJ) held its April Entrance Ceremony at Yotsuya Civic Hall. Approximately 300 new students joined us this term, bringing the total number of enrolled students to around 1,010. Students from all over the world gathered together, marking the beginning of their new journey of studying and living in Japan.

On the day of the ceremony, many students who had just arrived in Japan seemed a little nervous in the unfamiliar environment. At the same time, there was a strong sense of excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead. Some arrived with friends, while others met their first new friends in Japan at the venue—new connections began forming right from this moment.

Following the ceremony, an orientation session was held to introduce the basic structure of school life and important points to keep in mind while living in Japan. In addition, officers from Yotsuya Police Station were invited to speak about safety and daily life in Japan. They shared important advice on staying safe, avoiding scams, following the law, and refraining from illegal part-time work. We hope all students will remember: safety comes first while studying abroad.

Throughout the event, our teachers were also actively supporting the students. Some welcomed new students at the entrance, while others carefully guided and assisted them inside the venue. For those who have just arrived in Japan, many things may still feel unfamiliar—but there is no need to worry. Our teachers will continue to support you both in your studies and daily life. Whenever you face difficulties, please don’t hesitate to rely on us.

Life at TCJ is not only about learning Japanese—it is also a time to meet new people and gradually build your experience. We hope you will make the most of each day at TCJ, cherish your connections, and continue to grow through new challenges as you work toward your goals in Japan.
All of us at TCJ warmly welcome you and look forward to supporting you throughout your journey.
