SENIOR VOICE
My dream since I was little was to become a cyber security engineer, I enrolled in TCJ and was able to pass N2 by the time I graduated. After that, I joined a Japanese company and now I am working at Dell Corporation. The position is Cyber security expert – white hacker. My role is to find vulnerabilities before malicious attackers do.
My future goal is to make use of cyber security technology to create a professional school to teach cyber security, which is not yet common in Japan. As a foreigner, I feel that while Japan’s technology level is very high in many fields, its cyber security technology is still in its development stage. I believe that the level of Japanese technology will continue to improve. For that reason, I would like to improve my skills now and become independent from my current company in a few years.
The main reason why I chose TCJ was because the tuition fee was cheaper than other Japanese schools and I could choose to start at different times of the year. Most other Japanese language schools start their courses in April, but I was able to start in January, so I was very fortunate. In addition, I was able to take four classes a day, which allowed me to acquire Japanese language skills quickly. At that time, the class schedule was organized in the morning, so I was able to start working part-time in the afternoon. As an non-Asiatic student you will be far behind in terms of reading/writing, which is perfect for your room of improvement. Learning Japanese language is not enough for being successful in the japan, Study the culture.
