Speaking of Future Wishes — 2025 TCJ International Student Speech Contest
On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, TCJ held the “International Student Speech Contest.”
A total of 22 students (11 in the morning session and 11 in the afternoon session) took the stage to deliver speeches in Japanese under the theme “If one wish could come true.” They spoke passionately about their dreams, hopes for the future, and experiences of studying abroad. Each presentation was filled with energy and courage, captivating the entire audience.
After careful judging, two champions were selected, one from each session. The first-place winners were awarded a special prize — a pair of Disney tickets.
In addition, students who did not place received “TCJ Bear” and “TCJ Chocolate” as a token of appreciation for their efforts. Warm applause filled the hall, and the atmosphere was one of gratitude and joy.
This year, four students also took on the role of MCs, conducting the event in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Burmese. Their multilingual presentation added a rich international flavor to the contest, a true reflection of TCJ’s diversity.
What made the contest even more special was the support from the audience. Classmates cheered with loud voices, placards, and smiles, creating an atmosphere more like a “family” than a competition.
At TCJ, students from over 80 countries and regions come together to learn and support one another. The time they share is full of energy like fire, and even after returning to their home countries, they continue to shine like stars.
This speech contest became an unforgettable day, marking a big step toward the future.
TCJ will continue to provide a place of learning where each student’s voice can resonate across the world.
