TCJ Holds Its First-Ever Alumni Reunion! Graduates Return to Their Roots
Tokyo Central Japanese Language School (TCJ) held its very first alumni reunion since its founding in 1988!
Graduates who have walked different paths in life gathered once again at their alma mater.
From alumni who graduated over 7 years ago to recent graduates, the event brought together a wide range of generations for a warm and joyful day.
🎓 Where Our Alumni Are Now
Some are studying at their dream universities or graduate schools,
Some are thriving in Japanese companies,
And others are working hard toward their personal goals.
Seeing everyone’s progress deeply moved our staff.
We even saw some exchanging business cards—proof that this event wasn’t just a reunion, but also a chance to form new connections.
😊 A Warm and Joyful Gathering
With light snacks, the room was filled with nostalgic stories and updates about life today.
We heard many heartfelt comments like,
“I’ve missed this!” and “I can’t believe we’re meeting again!”
TCJ truly felt like a “place you can always come back to.”
💬 Voices from Alumni
“After studying Japanese at TCJ, I was able to answer properly in Japanese during job interviews, and people praised me for using honorifics so well!”
“It feels so nostalgic to come back to TCJ after such a long time!”
“After becoming able to speak Japanese, I gained confidence and even made Japanese friends!”
📢 Looking Ahead
This reunion is just the beginning.
We plan to continue organizing opportunities for alumni to stay connected.
If you couldn’t make it this time, we hope to see you at the next one!
Wherever life takes you, TCJ will always be cheering you on!
