Before enrolling, what was your biggest challenge when learning Japanese?

Because my time was incredibly limited, the “meta-work” of studying was my undoing. I would waste precious time just trying to figure out what to study next, which resources were reliable, or how to prepare for milestones (like the JLPT N3). I spent more energy organizing and searching for study materials than actually learning. I realized that without a professional, pre-structured flow to guide me daily, self-study was simply too inefficient to maintain alongside my work and family commitments.

Why did you choose TCJ out of all the schools?

I chose TCJ because it actually makes learning easy. They provide dedicated pathways focusing on Business Japanese, professional communication, and rigorous JLPT preparation (from N3 to N1), all delivered through highly professional lectures that fit right into my busy schedule. The breakthrough moment for me came in two places: my office and the exam hall. After taking TCJ’s classes, I suddenly realized I could easily follow and understand the daily Japanese conversations and discussions happening around me in my office environment.

On top of that, when I sat for the JLPT N3 exam, I found the listening section incredibly easy to get through. The listening practice we did in class trained my ears so well that I could easily keep up with the natural speed of the exam audio without feeling overwhelmed.

What do you like most about the teacher’s teaching style and the class atmosphere?

What I appreciate most is how the teachers perfectly balance being incredibly friendly and understanding with maintaining a high level of professionalism.
